In cases where many audio files with similar characteristics are to be processed, the analysis procedure can sometimes be successful reusing the same analysis parameters for all assets. This can end up saving a substantial amount of time in creating models.
For these cases, a command line batch modeling tool (SoundSeedImpact_BatchModeler.exe) is available. After invoking the batch modeler, use the absolute path to a folder containing the source WAVs that you want to model along with the absolute path to the .SSP parameter preset file saved with the SoundSeed Impact Modeler.
For example:
SoundSeedImpact_BatchModeler C:\PathToFolderContainingWAVs\ C:\PathToSavedParameterPreset\MyPreset.ssp
This same utility can also be used when migrating to a new version of SoundSeed_Impact. In this mode, the batch modeler will look for parameter preset files with the same name as each WAV file found in the folder to analyze, perform the analysis, and then store the migrated models.
For example:
SoundSeedImpact_BatchModeler C:\PathToFolderContainingWAVs\ -Migrate
Note that the batch processing functionality is available in SoundSeed Impact Modeler version 2009.1 and later.
